The working mode of the cold heading machine

Now on the marketCold heading machineIt is generally because it has many advantages. Not only is it preferable, the forming standards are stable, but it also has a variety of processing varieties. Its role cannot be underestimated. Cold heading machines use cold heading to make various standard blanks of screws, rivets and other standard parts, and are formed in the form of a whole mold. It is suitable for industry manufacturers that produce screws and rivets in batches. The entire structure of cold heading machines is from straightening, material selection, cutting and forming twice to blanking.

So what is the working method of the cold heading machine?

Forging methods to thicken the top of the rod or wire at room temperature. Cold heading is mainly used to make parts such as bolts, nuts, iron nails, rivets and steel balls. The forging materials can be copper, aluminum, carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel and titanium alloys, and the material utilization rate can reach 8090%. Cold heading is mostly carried out on special cold heading machines, which facilitates continuous, multi-station and automated production. On the cold heading machine, the cutting, upsetting head, accumulation, forming, chamfering, wire rub, shrinking diameter and edge cutting can be completed in sequence. The production efficiency is high, reaching more than 300 pieces per minute, and the maximum diameter of the cold heading workpiece is 48 mm. The bar material is automatically fed to a certain length by the feeding mechanism, and the cutting mechanism cuts it into a blank, and then sent to the accumulation and punching stations by the clamp conveying mechanism for forming.
