When there are some problems with the multi-station cold heading machine during operation, it may often be due to the setting problem. After analyzing the adjustment and operation of the cold heading machine, it can be seen that the adjustment steps are as follows.
1. Hardware field connection. Install the proximity switch on the device and connect all components according to the electrical schematic.
2. Parameter setting. According to the requirements of the user unit, by setting the acceleration and deceleration time parameters (2202), the time required for the inverter to rise from 1Hz to 50Hz (that is, the motor speed increases from 0r\/min to 1500r\/min) is set to 3s.
3. Processing test. First start the equipment to process parts in manual mode. The equipment is running normally and switch to automatic mode. Set the total number of machining parts on the counter to 30, and then start the equipment. When the processing amount reaches 30, the equipment stops running. In manual and automatic modes, when the speed regulator is turned, the processing speed of the parts will change accordingly, and the speed of different cycles will be displayed on the digital display.
4. Emergency stop and maintenance. Press the emergency stop button on the control cabinet operation panel to stop the equipment operation. Unplug the main power supply and the data on the counter remains unchanged. After restarting, the equipment then processes the parts until the preset quantity is reached, and then stops.
5. Reset. Press the two reset switches on the counter operation panel to reset the preset number and processing number respectively.
6. Key protection. After rotating the key switch (SA1) of the cold heading machine, all key operations on the counter operation panel are invalid. After 6 months of operation, the equipment is in good condition and all technical parameters meet the requirements of the user unit.
As we all know, multi-station cold heading machines have high requirements for materials, and good materials can determine the quality of products. We will introduce the material requirements of multi-station cold heading machines:
1. The chemical composition of the raw materials of the cold heading machine should comply with the standards of the cold heading machine.
2. Hardness of raw materials. In order to reduce the probability of cracking of materials and extend the service life of the mold, cold-drawing materials must have the lowest hardness as possible to improve plasticity, and the hardness should be HB110170 (HRB62-88).
3. There should be a dull and smooth film on the surface, and there should be no defects such as scratches, wrinkles, cracks, and abrasions.
4. In order to ensure the cutting quality during cold forming, cold-drawn materials are required to have a hard surface and a soft core.
5. Cold-heading tests should be carried out for cold-tearing materials. The lower the sensitivity of the material to cold work hardening, the better, so as to reduce the deformation resistance increased by cold work hardening during deformation.
6. The raw materials must be spheroidized and annealed. The above 6 points are the material requirements of the cold heading machine.
